The internet means that making the content of Video History Today available around thewWorld is possible.  As a UK based web-site, additional information is required by Overseas (any member subscribing outside the United Kingdom) members to help them with the site.

        Language

Currently the site is only available in English alhough it is marketed at any educational organisation in the world.  English (with English spelling) will be used throughout apart from in the naming of some locations which are known by their local name, (eg. Uluru in Australia).

       Currency

At the time of launch, the site will only be able to accept payment in British Pound Sterling. 

Any non-UK based member who wishes to subscribe will have to use the automated credit card based purchase procedure.  The charge made to your account will be for the Sterling equivilant amount in your own currency.  The exact amount you are charged will therefore be affected by the natural fluctulation in world exchange rates and the terms and conditions of your card issuer.

Please note that the 'Pay by Cheque' procedure cannot be used by non-UK members because of all the administration problems it will cause, (from postal issues to banking issues).  Non-UK members can use the card based procedure without any problems.

ALl major cards accepted: VISA, Delta, Mastercard, Maestro / Switch / Solo, Electron, JCB and American Express.
 

The membership process above is the same for an individual who wishes to apply or an institution which requires just one point of access.  This is controlled by the email application procedure and monitored to ensure a single login is not used by multiple users in different locations.

If you are a larger institution or organisation such as an Education Authority or University with multiple users, a more suitable membership subscription is required.  If this is your situation please email in the first instance, admin@videohistorytoday.com as a specific membership plan will be required to suit your needs.
